81st President Peter Urscheler
2015 Year End Banquet
Radisson Lackawanna Station
It is with a heavy heart, that I assume the office and responsibilities as the 81st president of the Pennsylvania Jaycees. This is a sad time for our organization, as we have suffered, an incredible loss that cannot be weighed. I know that each of you joins me, as we share the sorrow that Carrie’s Family must bear.
We are reminded at this juncture of the delicate and precious nature of life. The gifts which we are given and our responsibility to share them with the world. Carrie will be remembered not by a finite number of years, but instead by the infinite good deeds which she committed herself too through the Pennsylvania Jaycees.
Today, I dedicate the 81st Presidency of the Pennsylvania Jaycees to Carrie Reich. I sincerely pledged myself to your service. Throughout the remaining year, with all my heart I shall strive to be worthy of your trust. Although my experience is short and my task so new, in Carrie’s life I have an example which I can follow with certainty and with confidence.
In 2016 we will work together to Drive the Pennsylvania Jaycees Organization to new heights. We will test limits and boundaries. We will make meaningful changes that will have a lasting impact on our organization. We will work together to evaluate our priorities and programs.
We have no small task ahead of us, as we strive to secure our organizations place in the future. I ask humbly for help, support and love from you and from the Lord.
Thank you, may God Bless each of you and all our Organizations.
